IMWS Chair Mohamed Mulla has written to the French Ambassador, Sylvie Bermann, after the tragic incidents of last Friday.

The letter reads:

“I am writing on behalf of Indian Muslim Welfare Society (IMWS) based in West Yorkshire, UK to express our disgust and sorrow for the horrific and callous attacks on the innocent people in Paris on Friday evening.

We unequivocally condemn these barbaric and evil acts carried out by the lunatics in the name of great religion of Islam. We, the British Muslims, stand shoulder to shoulder with the French people. We urge you not to give in to fear and terror and to unite and show love for one another. United we stand and divided we fall.”

The letter has also been sent to the Prime Minister David Cameron.
