The Indian Muslim Welfare Society (IMWS) is one of the largest voluntary community organisations in Yorkshire and Humberside. We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed individual to play a central role in the continued development of our organisation, which is striving to work with and meet the needs of its local community.
An opportunity has arisen for a part time Administrative Officer within the main admin office at the Al-Hikmah Centre. The successful candidate will be required to maintain the efficient running of the general office and will have experience of computer based account procedures (QuickBooks, Etc.) and financial processes that include, reconciliations, invoicing, preparing financial reports and IT systems. Additional duties will include taking bookings of services provided at the centre and dealing with operational day to day activities of the centre. The successful candidate will ideally have a minimum of 1-2 years experience of working in an office environment with excellent organisational and communication skills.
